How my Crawling Baby Sees the World

crawlingworldwebThis is an appropriate one for this morning. While eating my breakfast, I had to get up and chase my son no less than five times. And he doesn’t even *really* crawl. He still does the army crawl thing, but man, he’s fast at it!

Since he learned to crawl, his favorite things in life have become: Cabinets, door hinges, electrical outlets, dirty shoes and the cat. And guess who still hasn’t totally baby-proofed the house? That’s right, this girl. (Too be fair, how do you baby-proof a cat?)

We did cover the outlets, so there’s that. And I recently ordered some door stops so he doesn’t pinch his fingers. So I guess the next step is cabinet locks and gates and a giant bubble.

*EDIT* – As I am typing this, he is in his Jumperoo, whining to get out. And I’m about to take him out, but I KNOW, he’s going to head straight for the cat.

*ANOTHER EDIT* – He went straight for the cat.
