Eat This, Not That: Toddler Edition

eatthisWeb
My son is a picky eater. A MAJORLY picky eater. He’s fifteen months and he still mostly eats baby food purees. If it involves getting his hands messy, he just has zero interest. But if it’s something he threw on the floor months ago that rolled under the couch? Oh, he’s all over that. And today, he was playing with Play Doh. I look down at my phone for TWO SECONDS, I look up, and a hunk of that smelly crap if halfway in his mouth. Why? He’s also become big into stealing other kids’ food, lately. If I give it to him on his own plate it’s not good enough, but if his cousin’s eating it he HAS to have it suddenly.

Also, I feel like I should apologize for the crap quality of this cartoon. I have some in the reserves, but I just wasn’t feeling them tonight, so I decided to rush this one out because I thought it was funnier. So, hopefully it was worth the crappy drawing.

  1. Something you could try that works sometimes for M is showing the food to him first and if he refuses then to pretend like you are going to eat it instead. M on most attempts at this will be surprised that I am going to eat her food instead of her and will happily eat it before I can.
