Does anyone else’s kid do this? Ever since the weather’s warmed up my son has struggled with whether he wants to be inside or outside. Usually he settles on standing in the opening of the sliding door, getting the heat from the sun on his back and the air conditioning in his face. It seems ideal except for the money we’re wasting on A/C and all the bugs that get in. Have I mentioned that hornets LOVE our deck? So his preference presents a problem.
I’m sure some scientific pedants will take umbrage with this post and what Schrondigner was really trying to prove (I’m not a scientist but I know it was something not involving bugs or air conditioning or toddlers). I struggled with whether or not I wanted to post it since science factoids masquerading as scientific understanding are so en vogue right now. But in the end, the cheap pop won out. Ah, well.
In the meantime, I have to go yell at my kid, “IN OR OUT! YOU’RE EITHER IN OR OUT!” Obviously this is the hit song in our house this summer.
