The Observation

I don’t always do comics based on things that my kid has actually said or done, but I thought his observation was funny, and it knocked me down a peg or two from my smug self-satisfaction. It’s impossible to be smug with a toddler. I also wanted to get this ...

Competitive Eating

My latest for Breastfeeding Mama Talk! I really should have drank more water when I was breastfeeding. I had clogged ducts almost the entire time I breastfed my son – 15 months! It was super painful, and there would be times where nothing would come out. I still feel guilty ...

You’re Either in or You’re Out!

Does anyone else’s kid do this? Ever since the weather’s warmed up my son has struggled with whether he wants to be inside or outside. Usually he settles on standing in the opening of the sliding door, getting the heat from the sun on his back and the air conditioning ...

Do You Have a Cover?

This is my latest collaboration with Breastfeeding Mama Talk! It’s probably bad form to laugh at your own comics, but I did this a week ago and I’m still chuckling at it. It was inspired by a real life event, where a woman told a man she would give him ...

Should You Judge Someone Who is Breastfeeding?

Here’s my latest collaboration with Breastfeeding Mama Talk! I haven’t done a flow chart cartoon in a while, so I figured I’d do one in regard to breastfeeding. I could probably do one for formula feeding as well. Or just feeding in general. It’s such a contentious issue and it ...

The Easter Egg Hunt

I took my son to an Easter egg hunt last week. He was allowed to find 12 eggs, and out of his 12 eggs, two were stickers, one was a chick made out of a pipe cleaner and nine were plastic rings. And you know what? He freaking loved all ...

What You Really Need

For real. Every class I take with my son, there’s a lot of jumping and no warning. I’m not anti-jump, either. I’m just a little top heavy and need to be wearing the proper athletic attire to put out an enthusiastic hop. And these classes have made me really up ...

The Cure-all for Sick Kids

My son is actually not sick right now, but I am. Kind of. Anyway, I haven’t felt well today, and I ended up creating this quickly, I think I actually ripped this joke off of a mom friend. So I’m sorry about that. I just can’t think, because my head ...
