Time to Move!

So my two year old is suddenly obsessed with ghosts. I have no idea why. He says there’s a “big girl ghost” on our steps who hears his heart beating. WHO SAYS THAT? Like what even is that?! Plus, we’re the first ones who have lived in our house, and ...

Definitely Not an Announcement of Any Kind

Seriously. This is not a any kind of announcement about anything. I’m just saying. Once your kid turns about two, people feel more comfortable asking about a second one. Which (to me) is fine. All I’m going to say is…yes there will be another (hopefully), no it will not be ...

No. No. Nooooooo!

Lately I feel like I should take a page out of my son’s book and just start saying “no” to everything. “Want to volunteer for…” “No.” “We can only pay in promotion…” “No.” “Here are my idiotic political beliefs…” “No.” That’s it! I’m going into full-on toddler mode, people. No. ...

Rear-Facing Conversations

There’s a lot of things I currently say to my son that I probably won’t have to say once he’s forward facing. Whenever we’re about to pass an interesting vehicle I always try to give him a head’s up. Sometimes he looks out the wrong window. And he’ll intently stare ...

Holiday’s Hottest Toys

And I’m back! Somewhat. Here’s what happened: My son’s birthday is in early November. But before that is Halloween. And after his birthday is Thanksgiving. And then I have an elf I had to move around for the entire month of December. And then it’s Christmas. And then New Years. ...

Haircuts

First, I need to apologize. It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Not that it’s any excuse, but things have been (and will be) super busy. Last month I had SPX. I had a great time, but unfortunately I was only able to table one day because I experienced car ...

Breasting Feeding Mama Talk

I know what you’re thinking. No, I did not randomly decide to start breastfeeding my son again. (We stopped seven months ago.) I AM collaborating on some comics with Breastfeeding Mama Talk. Go ahead, check them out! This comic is about a somewhat recent story. A woman was shamed for ...
